Salem has had quite the journey as an adoptable cat! When he first came to the cat cafe, he was a nervous cat who wanted to be left alone in the safety of his cat tree. Over many weeks, we earned his trust with patience and food. Then one day, he decided to come out and play with a very fun butterfly toy! Ever since then, Salem has become chatty and outgoing, even showing his affectionate side when he’s in the mood! While he still has moments of uncertainty when he retreats to his cat tree or gets a bit defensive, Salem is now a needy cat who wants to feel loved and included (on his terms, of course). We’re proud of this weird little man, and hope his next owner will appreciate his unique qualities and the hardships he’s overcome.
